Well. Season 2's over, we're well into Season 3 -- "Unfinished Business" is about seventeen thousand times a better episode in the Extended Cut version -- and I still haven't written about Season 2.

It's still a damn good series. It's stumbled a bit more recently, but I'm still enjoying it.

Saw Iron Man 2. Not bad. Not as amazing as the first, I fear to say, but it had some very good moments. I'll reserve judgement 'til the rest of the series is shown ( Read more... )

But really, just to say this: Dear sweet Lords of Kobol, Tricia Helfer looks damned good in glasses and a ponytail. Ahem.

...If I could drop the weight down to the right mass, I daresay I could cosplay Gaius Baltar. The hair's certainly gotten to the right length.

Well. SOME of that was unexpected.

Some was not.

Almost all of it was good.

I shall have to put in for season 2.

People have been known to ask, "cpip, why do you have an innate suspicion of AIs? Why are you such a biochauvinist? Why have you stated that you will agitate for any self-aware synthetic life to be dismantled?"

I point to the Cylons, and say, "That is what I expect, and consider nearly inevitable."

So I seem to have two new fandoms.
